A two-judge bench of the Allahabad High Court has made a strong comment regarding the PIL seeking to open 22 closed rooms in the Taj Mahal. Reprimanding the petitioner, the judge said that go and do a PhD on the Taj Mahal, if someone stops you, then tell. In fact, a writ petition seeking to find out about the Taj Mahal was filed before the Lucknow bench.
The Allahabad High Court dismissed the petition seeking to open these 22 rooms and conduct a survey. The High Court made a stern remark that who are you to open these rooms. Don’t make fun of PIL. Now the counsel for the petitioner has said that he will move the Supreme Court.
The petitioner is the media in-charge of the Ayodhya unit of BJP. The petition refers to the claims of some historians and Hindu groups that the tomb located here is actually an old temple. It was said in the petition that the ASI should conduct a survey by opening these rooms and the results should be presented to the public.
In fact, in the petition, Rajneesh had said that the date on which the construction of Tammahal is claimed to be complete, this building was before that. He had also cited a purported letter from Aurangzeb. On this, the High Court said that go and do research. Do MA PhD and then choose a subject like this. If any institute does not allow to do research then come to us.
