In this study, data of last 30 years of 20 lakh people was analyzed. Based on the analysis, it was found that people who consumed five servings of fruits and vegetables had 13 percent less risk of dying from any disease compared to those who consumed two servings of fruits and vegetables. At the same time, the risk of heart disease and stroke in such people was also 12 percent less and the risk of dying from cancer was 10 percent less. In such people, the risk of dying from chronic respiratory diseases was 35 percent less. Now the question is what does one serving mean? One serving means a normal amount of vegetable or fruit that can be eaten at one time. If we look at it in terms of weight, it should be around 20-25 grams. This should provide 280 calories of energy. That is, if you include fruits and vegetables in your diet five times a day, the benefit will be that you will be safe from many diseases.
