Bhilai. Steel Employees Union INTUC submitted a memorandum on Saturday to the General Manager of Industrial Relations Department of Bhilai Steel Plant in the name of SAIL Chairman to start our e-Zero examination in SAIL.
It was told in the memorandum that after 2018, e-zero examination has not been started in SAIL yet, whereas according to the rules of SAIL, e-zero examination should be conducted every 2 years. Due to which senior employees get an opportunity to become officers.
INTUC today submitted a memorandum to JN Thakur, General Manager, Industrial Relations Department of Bhilai Steel Plant. They are eligible to become 25 percent staff officers, but due to lack of examination, most of the employees are retiring after staying in the same post for 13 to 14 years in the post of S11 grade and D cluster, due to which the morale of the employee falls. And is deprived of becoming an officer further, due to which he suffers financial loss.
Additional one increment is available in four years. He is also not available when he is the most responsible employee of the plant in terms of employee experience and diligence.
MTech in Metallurgy is done by CSVTU by Bhilai Steel Plant but when there is an exam to become an officer. They are not given any benefit of that study and their experience, whereas being the steel sector, they have maximum knowledge about metallurgy.
In a memorandum, Sanjay Sahu, Additional General Secretary of INTUC Union, has demanded from SAIL Chairman that he should be given special bonus marks in E-Zero examination so that his education is respected and he can provide his full knowledge and hard work for the plant. .
To make SAIL a leading company in the field of steel in the country. Senior Manager Industrial Relations Rohit Harit and Additional General Secretary Sanjay Sahu and Deputy General Secretary Animesh Sweat and Resham Rathore were present on behalf of INTUC Union.
