Bhilai. They have been kept out of the non-executive promotion policy as they are technical posts in the Fire Brigade and Township and Education Department of Bhilai Steel Plant. The employees of all these three departments are not getting the benefits of non-executive promotion policy to other employees of the plant.
According to the post of these departments, there should be DPC. INTUC has demanded DPC in these departments soon.
INTUC Union’s Additional General Secretary Sanjay Sahu met General Manager Personnel Non Work SK Soni of Bhilai Steel Plant regarding the demand of DPC in Fire Brigade and Township and Education Department. Discussed the promotion policy for the employees of all these three departments.
He asked to bring better promotion policy in these departments as soon as possible and take steps to get more and more people promoted. Told them that according to the technical post name of the employees, a new promotion policy has to be made. In which the respectable post name of the employees there can be found.
General Manager Personnel SK Soni assured to take further action on this subject and to do DPC soon so that maximum number of people can get the benefit of promotion. During this meeting, Deputy General Secretary of INTUC Union Turinder Singh, Deputy General Secretary Bipin Bihari Mishra were present.
It is noteworthy that on the initiative of INTUC at Bhilai Steel Plant, the Non-Executive Promotion Policy has been formulated last year.

Retired personnel now in the role of our guide
BSP Employees Co-Operative and Welfare Society Limited Sector-4, a cooperative organization of Bhilai Steel Plant workers, paid a respectful farewell to its member workers who retired in the month of January 2022. A total of 22 personnel were given honor letters, sweets, quince, gifts and final payment checks.
Honoring the long service of the retired members at the function, President Ashok Parganiha said that all the senior members have vast experience in their respective fields and are now in the role of guiding. He hoped that whenever needed, we will always get the guidance of these senior colleagues. He said that the period of accident insurance will be applicable till 23 May 2022.
Retired personnel Baldev Prasad Chandrakar, Hiralal, Yogendra Kumar Kurve, Gaara Rao, Kamlesh Kumar Sharma, Hemant Kumar Verma, Arun Kumar Yelukar, R Srinivasan, Meena Nandi, Harichand Thakur, Ramashish, Saumitra Rai, Seemanchal Mahanti, Dinesh Pandey, Mahendra Prasad, Chandan Singh, Madan Singh, Nirmal Devnath, Manas Rai, Hosh Kumar Vanpal, Narayan Prasad Pandey and Abdul Aziz.
In the ceremony, these retired personnel expressed their views and remembered their service. On this occasion Vice President Ashok Rathore, Asma Parveen, Board of Directors members Puranlal Devangan, Vipin Banchor, Janaki Rao, Satanand Chandrakar, Shashibhushan Singh, Purushottam Singh Kanwar, Nitisha Sahu and Vedprakash Suryavanshi and other staff and people were present.
