New Delhi. The clouds hovering over the Uddhav government in Maharashtra are not taking the name of lessening. The political drama that started from Tuesday continues on Wednesday as well. A group of rebel MLAs left Surat under the leadership of Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde at around 2 pm and have now camped in Guwahati. All these rebel MLAs of Eknath Shinde reached Guwahati this morning by chartered aircraft. Although talks were also held between Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde late last night, but Shinde remains firm on his stand. Shinde, on the one hand, is talking of forming a government with the Bharatiya Janata Party. So on the other hand Uddhav is not ready for this.
When Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde came before the media at Surat airport with the rebel MLAs under his leadership, he was asked countless questions. However, while answering these questions, Shinde clearly said that he has not left Shiv Sena and will not leave it. Shinde said that we used to follow Balasaheb’s Hindutva and will continue to do so. Senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has indicated that the Maharashtra Assembly will be dissolved. He has tweeted in this regard. It is believed that in the event of being in the minority, Uddhav can recommend the dissolution of the assembly.
