New Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team reached the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday in the money laundering case related to Delhi’s liquor policy. The Central Investigation Agency has sent summons to Kejriwal nine times regarding the case, but he has not appeared even once. In the ninth summons, Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has been asked to appear on Thursday.
Kejriwal had approached the Delhi High Court regarding this matter, but he did not get relief. The High Court today refused to grant any protection to Kejriwal from punitive action in a money laundering case related to the excise policy.
