Mumbai Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde has burst a new political bomb. Eknath Shinde from the English newspaper Times of India said that the Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra wanted to arrest 4 senior BJP leaders. The intention of Uddhav Thackeray’s government was to arrest these leaders and bring many BJP MLAs into its fold.
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde told in a special interview to the newspaper that Uddhav Thackeray wanted Aditya Thackeray to be made the CM as soon as possible. Shinde said that the Uddhav Thackeray government wanted BJP leaders Ashish Shelar, Girish Mahajan, Praveen Darekar and Devendra Fadnavis to be arrested. There was a conspiracy to arrest all of them before June 2022. According to Eknath Shinde, Uddhav Thackeray himself wanted to become a king instead of a kingmaker like his father Balasaheb Thackeray. Eknath Shinde claimed that when he was a minister in the Mahavikas Aghadi government, he had to endure constant insults. Maharashtra CM said that as Urban Development Minister, he did not get a chance to work independently and Aditya Thackeray used to interfere.
Eknath Shinde said that there was already a plan to form Mahavikas Aghadi. However, Sharad Pawar did not suggest making Uddhav Thackeray the CM. According to Eknath Shinde, Uddhav Thackeray felt that he was a hindrance in the path of making Aditya Thackeray the CM. Let us tell you that Eknath Shinde and many MLAs had rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray in June 2022. He formed the government with BJP. Due to having majority, the Election Commission considered Shinde’s group as the real Shiv Sena and gave it the party’s symbol arrow and bow. Uddhav Thackeray went to the Supreme Court in this matter, but he could not get the party back. Now Uddhav Thackeray is the leader of the party in the name of Shiv Sena-UBT and his election symbol is the torch.
