The Commission said that in the first phase of voting for 102 seats, 66.22 percent male and 66.07 percent female voters voted. At the same time, in the second phase, 66.99 percent male voters and 66.42 percent female voters voted for 88 seats. However, in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections held in 2019, 69.64 percent voting took place.
What was the figure earlier?
The data shared after the first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 showed a total of 60.03 percent voting.
