According to the Meteorological Department, the heat will be less in Delhi and NCR in the first week of May. The sky may be cloudy and there may be light rain along with strong wind. There is a possibility of a lot of humidity in many states including Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura. There may be some drop in mercury at these places from Thursday. The Meteorological Department says that there may be snowfall and moderate rain at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh till Thursday. There is a possibility of rain in Uttarakhand also. There are chances of snowfall in the higher altitude areas.
According to the latest weather information, there may be rain with thunder and lightning in southern parts of Chhattisgarh along with Marathwada and Vidarbha of Maharashtra. There are chances of moderate rain and hailstorm in the northern part of Punjab. There may be light rain with thunderstorm in northern areas of Haryana and north-western part of Rajasthan. There may be snowfall and moderate rain in Arunachal Pradesh in the northeast.
