Bhopal. After the arrest of four suspected terrorists belonging to Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen JMB, a banned organization of Bangladesh, who came to Madhya Pradesh to carry out any major terrorist act, the investigation of this case is going on. State Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra said on Monday that the suspects arrested in the capital have been found to be associated with the banned organization Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen JMB Bangladesh. The four arrested suspects Mazhar Ali alias Mahmood, Muhammad Shaqeel alias Ahmed, Zahiruddin alias Ibrahim and Farhar Zailul alias Hussain have been taken into custody. A large amount of jihadist literature, electronic equipment and suspicious documents have been found from them.
According to Home Minister Mishra, the investigation has started and any attempt to spread terror will be dealt with strictly.
It is to be known that on the basis of information received from the informer, the anti-terrorist team ATS had raided Karond and Eshbagh areas and caught four suspects. In the preliminary investigation, all four have been found to have links with Bangladesh’s organization JMB. This organization has carried out many incidents in Bangladesh in the past, while in India, bomb blasts were done in West Bengal’s Vardhaman and Gaya. These organizations are banned in India.
Sources claim that the ATS has taken this action on the basis of confidential information received from the National Investigation Agency.
