The recently released film ‘The Kashmir Files’ remains in discussion across the country. All policemen in Madhya Pradesh will be given leave to watch this film. On Monday, the state government issued the order. Earlier on Sunday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made ‘The Kashmir Files’ tax free here.
Instructions issued to DGP
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra told reporters on Monday that Madhya Pradesh Police personnel will be given leave to watch the film The Kashmir Files. He said that instructions have been issued to DGP Sudhir Saxena in this regard. The Kashmir Files, written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Zee Studios, tells the story of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. After the killings of Hindus in Kashmir by Pakistan-backed terrorists, Kashmiri Pandits were forced to flee from here.
Shivraj praised the film in a tweet
The film stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty in lead roles along with other actors. Earlier in a tweet on Sunday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wrote that the film tells the pain of Kashmiri Hindus in the 90s. He said that it is very important that this film is seen by a large number of people. Therefore, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to make it tax free.
