New Delhi. A blast at a factory in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh created panic among the people present there. This happened because of the fire in the firecrackers. Five people died on the spot due to this blast. At the same time, the condition of one is said to be serious. This person was admitted to the district hospital, but due to lack of facilities there, he was later referred to Chandigarh PGI. The news of the death of the factory operator in the blast is also coming to the fore.
According to the information received from the police, about 7 to 8 people used to work in this factory. It was a licensed firecracker factory. The accident took place in Balwantpur village near Saurana of police station Sarsawa area. All the people who lost their lives in this incident were residents of Salempur police station area of Sarsawa.
Talking to media persons about this incident, IG Saharanpur said, ‘Today we had received information that around 6:30 pm, this is a licensed firecracker factory, whose license is in the name of Rahul son Kiran. There has been a blast in this factory. After that all the police teams and CMO sent their ambulances here. Villagers say that 7 to 8 people used to work in this factory. Right now we are doing rescue operation. Our first priority in this is to trace the house of the deceased in the incident and inform them. This factory is here for the last one and a half years. It will take us some time to get more details about it’.
Let us inform that the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, while condoling the incident, wished peace to the departed souls and expressed condolences to the family members. Regarding this incident, the CM has given instructions to the district administration to get treatment.
