Police is interrogating Zubair on one-day remand. At the same time, a website ‘Op India’ has fact-checked the fact checker of Zubair. The website has fact-checked 20 cases on behalf of Zubair and claimed them to be false. According to the website, in the name of fact check, Zubair tried to give a different color to the cases and also presented the facts in a distorted way.

When a laughing video of Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi going there after the rape incident in Hathras went viral, Zubair tried to prove the viral video wrong by using a photo from the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in the name of fact checking. The website claims that in February 2019, Zubair shared a video of Vishwa Hindu Parishad from Gonda in UP, writing that anti-India slogans were raised during the protest against the Pulwama terror attack. Gonda police found that Zubair’s claim was false. Similarly, in February 2020, when stones were pelted at the police from the library of Jamia Millia University, Zubair claimed that the students had purses and not stones in their hands. Similarly, during the lockdown of Corona, Zubair shared a photo of some people with folded hands in front of two Jain monks. He tried to tell that these people were violating the lockdown. Whereas, both the Jain monks were giving food to people and animals.
