The District Co-operative Central Bank, operating in the Reethi tehsil headquarter of Katni district, has turned into an inn of Bharashahi these days due to the arbitrariness of the posted staff. The farmers who come here to do transactions are misled and the brokers are dealt with within a few minutes with the BIP system. If sources are to be believed, the work of the traders in the said bank is done first, while the farmers are misled by giving excuse of not having the amount. Farmers have to visit the bank for two-three days for small transactions.
No arrangement of shade: It was noticed that there is not even a provision of adequate shade outside the District Co-operative Central Bank premises of Reethi. Account holders arriving to make transactions are forced to resort to tea-snack hotels. Even the shade has not been arranged outside the premises by the bank manager. Also, there is no proper arrangement of even drinking water in the bank. People say that the District Co-operative Central Bank of Reethi has become a victim of arbitrariness of employees including the posted branch manager.
The work of making women mates in MNREGA work is commendable
Female mate was honored in Zilla Panchayat

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, special programs are to be organized till March 13 to encourage women empowerment and focus on the excellent work being done by women. Under this, in the presence of District Panchayat Administrative Committee President Mamta Patel, Vice President Ashok Vishwakarma, District Panchayat CEO Jagdish Chandra Gome, in the presence of District Panchayat Auditorium, women mates working under MNREGA scheme were honored on the last day. In the program, the head of the Administrative Committee said that the Chief Minister of the state is continuously bringing schemes for the education, security of women as well as to make them self-reliant. He said that the decision taken to give mate work to women under MGNREGA would definitely boost their confidence and encourage them to become self-reliant. The Vice President of the District Panchayat said that the way women take care of their house well, in the same way they will also run MGNREGA works in a good manner. CEO Mr. Gome exhorted the women mates to work with full integrity, honesty and fearlessness. Along with this, instructions were given to register the presence of MGNREGA through mobile app and set daily or weekly tasks to the workers and get them done accordingly. During the program, women who did excellent and commendable work under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA were honored. The guests honored 14 female mates from 6 development blocks of the district by presenting them with a citation. District Panchayat officials were present during this.

Self-help groups run by Aajeevika Mission are being motivated for self-employment and women in the district are constantly taking steps towards self-reliance. Under this, on International Women’s Day, District Panchayat CEO Jagdish Chandra Gome inaugurated Aajeevika Rural Mart, funded by NABARD and operated by Maa Jalpa Sankul level organization, on Jagriti Colony Shahdol Road. Pickles, papads, spices, pulses, rice, clothes, bangles, clay and bamboo utensils, chips etc. have been made available for sale by the women in Rural Mart. CEO Zilla Panchayat Mr. Gome inquired about the products from the women of the group. Along with this, in the presence of bank officials, discussions were held regarding the manufacture, sale, promotion etc. of the products. Along with inaugurating the Rural Mart, Zilla Panchayat CEO Mr. Gome also became the first customer and encouraged women to purchase products as well as make digital payments while making digital payments. Shri Gome said that with the establishment of self-employment, women will not only become self-reliant, but they will also become socially and economically strong and strong.
