Fellowship awarded by the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland
Hyderabad-based Dr P Raghu Ram has been awarded a fellowship by the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ASGBI). According to media reports, this organization leads the surgical organization in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Dr Raghu was felicitated during its centenary year General Assembly meeting by Neil Welch, President of the Surgical Body. The meeting, which was held on July 20, was conducted digitally.

Welch said that Dr Raghu is the first Indian doctor in the history of the ASGBI to receive this honour. After receiving the award, Raghu Ram dedicated this honor to the Indian Surgical Organization for promoting his art and science of surgery. Apart from this, he also thanked his patients for giving them the opportunity to serve him. Raghu Ram said that he has been working with UK experts to perfect breast healthcare delivery for the last 14 years.
Due to this accomplishment of Raghuram, Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu also congratulated Dr. Raghu Ram. The ASGBI is the legal organization representing general surgeons in the United Kingdom and Ireland. This association was established in 1920.
