The central and state governments have been doing their utmost to keep the common citizens safe from the corona pandemic. The campaign to give the third vaccine i.e. booster dose of Corona for the elderly and frontline workers has also started across the country from today, January 10, 2022. In the midst of this noble campaign, online fraudsters cyber criminals have also become active.
According to media reports, thugs call on mobile to give booster dose to Vashti citizens and offer to register them and send them asking for information like OTP, PAN card etc. The thugs break into the bank account of such people. In such a situation, everyone should be careful about the fact that if someone asks you for OTP on the pretext of registering for booster dose, then be careful. Do not share your personal information and Aadhaar number with anyone.
No unknown mobile application should also be downloaded for the registration of booster dose of Corona. Those wishing to take the booster dose can either book their slot through the government’s authorized Covin app or can get the vaccine by visiting the nearest immunization centre.
