South Korean automaker Hyundai has announced a price hike for its product range from January 2022. It is worth noting here that not only Hyundai but also Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Skoda, Toyota and Volkswagen have increased the prices of their vehicles with the advent of the new year. The increase in price is being attributed to increase in input cost.
Which car increased by how much
Currently, the Hyundai Alcazar has received the highest price hike, depending on the choice of variants. The price of Grand i10 Nios and Aura has now increased by up to Rs 7,300.
What’s more, the brand’s best-selling Hyundai Creta has received a price hike of up to Rs 7,000, while the i20 (including the N-Line) has now been hiked by up to Rs 6,800. The hike for Venue and Verna has been increased to Rs 4,100 and Rs 4,000 respectively.

Prices of these vehicles did not change
The carmaker has not changed the prices of models like the Kona Electric, Tucson and Elantra. Hyundai is expected to launch a new range of updated SUVs in India later this year. With the price hike in January 2022, no new updates have been included for the Creta and Venue.
