New Delhi. Narendra Modi 3.0 government is to be sworn in this evening. Keeping this in mind, air security arrangements like G-20 have been made in Delhi. Delhi has been converted into a no-fly zone till the swearing-in ceremony. This entire operation is being monitored through the Integrated Air Command and Control System. Such tight arrangements are being made because all the dignitaries of the country and abroad will stay under the open sky of Rashtrapati Bhavan for a long time. According to sources, Delhi has been converted into an impenetrable fortress in view of the possibility of any air threat.
To deal with any kind of air attack during the entire swearing-in ceremony, the Air Defense System of the Air Force deployed in Delhi and the areas around Delhi has been activated. Under this, the fighter jets of the Indian Air Force will be on combat air patrolling 24 hours a day on the Western Border i.e. the border with Pakistan. Along with this, all the long, medium and short range radars are constantly monitoring any unwanted air threat.
All the air bases on the Western border have been asked to remain on high alert and fighter jets will be ready to take off from any air base within a few minutes. Apart from this, AWACS (Airborne Early Warning and Control System) aircraft will also keep flying continuously. Its job is surveillance, tracking, identification and classification. This system can also detect ballistic missiles.
