The demand for electric vehicles is increasing rapidly in the Indian market. Keeping in view this trend of customers, vehicle manufacturing companies are engaged in introducing new electric models. The country’s leading vehicle manufacturer Mahindra is also preparing to make this race interesting. The company had showcased the concept of the electric version of its XUV300 during the Auto Expo in the year 2020. Now the production model of this electric SUV has been spotted during testing.
The new eXUV300 is the electric version of the current regular fuel model, with the design being largely the same as the current model. Although no information has been officially shared about its driving range yet, media reports are claiming that this SUV will give a range of up to 300 km in a single charge.

Looking at the spy images, the testing model of the electric version of the Mahindra XUV300 was the camouflage (cover), but despite this, some details related to its design have been revealed. It has a charging port on the left, other notable components include steel wheels, sweptback headlamps, split tail lights and integrated spoiler.
It is being told that the battery pack that will be used in this SUV has been prepared jointly by Mahindra and LG Chem. This 40kWh lithium-ion battery generates power of 130 bhp. Although this SUV is currently under testing and all the technical details related to it are yet to be revealed, but if it is offered with the mentioned range, then this model will give a tough competition.
