Gold Price Today on 24th April 2024 : Amidst the strength in global markets, gold and silver prices in the bullion market of the national capital on Wednesday returned to a rise after two sessions. Gold rose by Rs 410 to Rs 72,610 per 10 grams. The price of silver also increased by Rs 250 to Rs 83,750 per kg. In Delhi, gold rose by Rs 410 to close at Rs 72,610 per 10 grams, HDFC Securities said. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 72,200 per 10 grams.
Silver prices also rise
Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 250 to Rs 83,750 per kg. Its previous closing price was Rs 85,500 per kg. Saumil Gandhi, senior analyst (commodity), HDFC Securities, said, “The spot price of gold (24 carat) in Delhi market stood at Rs 72,610 per 10 grams. This is Rs 410 more than the previous closing price.
Gold and silver price globally
In the international market Comex (commodity market), spot gold was trading at $ 2,322 an ounce, which is $ 12 stronger than the previous closing price. Gandhi said the US dollar and bond yields declined after the release of macro-economic data in the US, which helped bullion prices bounce back from recent lows. Silver was also trading with gains at $ 27.10 an ounce. In the last session it was at $26.80 an ounce. Pranav Mer, vice president of research (commodity and currency) at BlinkX and JM Financial Services, said, “So far, gold prices have seen a stable movement. Now eyes will be on US GDP data on Thursday and Personal Consumption Expenditure (PCE) inflation on Friday. This will help in understanding the stance of the US Federal Reserve regarding interest rate cuts.
