Hyderabad-based startup electric vehicle company Gravton Motors launched its first electric two-wheeler ‘Quanta’ in June last year, with the company announcing that this scooter has made it a non-stop ride from Kanyakumari to Khardung La (Ladakh). is completed. That is, this scooter managed to ride 4011 kilometers in one go. Along with this, Graveton has also entered the Asia Book of Records.
Let us inform, K2K (Kanyakumari to Khardung La) ride was flagged off from Kanyakumari on 13 September 2021, covering a distance of 4011.9 km on 20 September 2021 after 164 hours and 30 minutes (6.5 days) to Khardung Just finished this ride in LA. The team traveled 3400 km on a non-stop bike ride from Kanyakumari to Manali and rested overnight in Manali.
Swapable Battery Gravton Electric Scooter
EV manufacturer Gravton Motors says the Quanta had no issues during the ride and never had a breakdown, adding that the Quanta’s thermal management system was designed to perform optimally in the low temperatures of Ladakh. For information, let us tell you that the Quanta electric two-wheeler comes with a swappable battery pack, while a battery swapping station was also present during the ride with the K2K project team.
