– Advocates to become senior gave interview in High Court
Gwalior Advocates Interview News: Gwalior (Naiduniya Pratinidhi). The Jabalpur Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court had started taking interviews of advocates from February 28 to honor the senior advocate. In this 12 advocates from Gwalior appeared for the interview. During this, senior judges asked many important questions from the advocates, whose answers were given by the advocates.
During the interview, the advocates were asked why do you want to become a senior. If you become a senior, what will you improve in the bar? At the same time, questions were asked from the advocates of Indore regarding the strike. Three to four advocates can get the respect of seniority from Gwalior. A total of 87 advocates from Madhya Pradesh appeared in the interview.
The seniority of the advocates in the High Court is decided by the High Court. It is given as an honor by the Bench to the advocates of the High Court Bar Association. Till now no interview had to be given for this. The High Court used to fix the senior advocate, but the Supreme Court had ordered interviews before deciding the senior advocate. Advocates who had applied for the honor of seniority were called for interview. Advocates were called according to Alphabet. Advocates whose name started with A were called first. Advocates from Gwalior were called for interview in groups of two and three.
Senior advocate has different respect in the bar
Advocates who get respect of seniority are not required to present their Vakalatnama. If the bench has to decide any legal point, then the help of senior advocate is taken in it.
The senior advocate’s gown has a different design. A junior lives with him. There is a separate seating arrangement in the bar.
