Gwalior Crime News: Jagendra Sen, Gwalior, New Dunia. On the report of Awadhesh Sharma, Thanipur police station has registered a case against Rajesh Sharma and Anupam Sharma for cheating of 31 lakh 45 thousand rupees and treason. The aunts of the accused complainant are father-in-law and mother-in-law. The accused had borrowed this money to do business and promised to return the money at the earliest.
Police have registered this case after investigation. Awadhesh son Munniram Sharma, resident of Suresh Nagar, has construction work. Rajesh Sharma, a resident of Shivpuri, is his uncle, father-in-law and Anupam Sharma is his mother-in-law. These people have construction work. The accused had taken the contract of boring in the year 2020. 31 lakh 45 thousand rupees were borrowed from Awadhesh Sharma to complete the work. The mother-in-law had assured that on completion of the work, after payment, the full money would be returned. The complainant, being a relative, believed and helped.
When I asked for the money back, I stopped talking. When the complainant asked for borrowed money from his relatives, he stopped talking. On pressurizing Awadhesh Sharma, the accused handed over two checks of the said amount to different banks. The check bounced as there was no money in the accounts. After that the accused refused to return the money. The complainant gave a complaint of dishonesty and fraud to Thatipur police station. After registering the case, the police have started searching for the accused.
Took full money and sent rusty old machine: Rahul Thakkar, a resident of Gajanand Apartments, runs a paper production factory. Ordered for window pasting machine to Tech Master Company of Baroda. The cost of the machine was paid for Rs.8 lakh. The machine arrived. When I opened the machine, it was rusted. On contacting the company that supplied the machine, it was told that due to rain, rust has occurred, which will be cleaned by applying grease. Don’t worry, the machine is brand new. The company’s engineer came and installed the machine. After running for a few days, the machine stopped, then the complainant understood that the company had cheated him and handed over the junk machine. The complainant lodged a complaint with the Madhavganj police station. After investigation, the police have registered a case of cheating against the operator of the company manufacturing the machine.
