Soon another new player is going to enter the electric scooter segment in the Indian market. Okinawa, the leading two-wheeler electric vehicle manufacturer, will launch its new electric scooter Okhi 90 in the market. Recently, the company has also released a teaser of this upcoming scooter, in which a slight glimpse of the design of this scooter has been seen. According to the information, this scooter can be officially introduced on March 24.
According to media reports, Okhi 90 will be the company’s flagship model, the company has been working on this scooter for a long time. It has also been spotted during testing on many different occasions. Experts believe that the company will include high-tech and advanced features in it, so that this scooter can compete with its competitors in the market.

Although no information has been received about its technical specifications and features yet, it is being claimed in media reports that this scooter will give a driving range of up to 200 km in a single charge. This scooter will be produced at the plant located in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, which has a production capacity of about 3 lakh units per annum. The company says that it plans to increase its production capacity to 1 million units in the next 2-3 years.
It is being told that when the Bhiwadi plant starts operations, it will be able to produce 5 times more than the first Okinawa plant located in Alwar, Rajasthan. Class leading features like LED headlamps, digital instrument cluster, alloy wheels, bigger tyres, disc brakes and longer wheelbase can be given in this scooter. Its price will be revealed at the time of its launch.
