Gwalior drug trade: Gwalior, Naiduniya Rep. Taking joint action, the team of Central Narcotics Bureau of Gwalior and Kota (Rajasthan) caught opium cultivation in two and a half bighas of fennel field in Sawai Madhopur village. The fruit of the poppy tree had come. The team has uprooted and destroyed the poppy plants. To whom this farm belongs is not yet known. The team has called the RI and Patwari on the spot and asked for information as to whose farm is this. On knowing the name and address of the owner of the farm, he will be nominated and arrested.
Narcotics Commissioner Rajesh Dabre had received information that opium cultivation is being done in Kugan village located in the limits of Bamandas police station area of Sawai Madhopur. After verifying the information, the team of Gwalior was sent. Called Kota’s team for help. Inspector BP Singh, LC Panwar, JP Meena, Sujit Sub-Inspector Gajraj Meena searched for poppy plants in the fennel field. Opium plants were seen in two and a half bighas.
Narcotics team destroyed 6430 plants in Sawai Madhopur: The Narcotics team uprooted and destroyed 6430 opium plants from the field. PRO Rajneesh Sharma told that no one was found on the farm during the action. On questioning the people of the area, the owner of the farm could not be traced. Now the team of Narcotics has called the RI and Patwari of the area and asked for information regarding the owner of the farm.
The young man hanged A 21-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in DD Nagar on Saturday. On the information of the family members, the Maharajpura police station has established a road. DD Nagar resident Ankit son Rajesh Singh Rajawat hanged himself on Saturday morning. Seeing Ankit hanging from the gallows, there was a stir in the house. The relatives cut the noose around the neck of the young man and took him to the hospital, where the doctor declared him brought dead. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the dead body under their surveillance. Police is investigating to find out the real reason behind the youth’s suicide.
