Gwalior Health News: Ajay Upadhyay, Gwalior New Dunia. Private hospitals are being run on the basis of government doctors. About three hundred private hospitals have opened in the city. At present, 20 private hospitals are in line to open in the next two months. Their file is kept in the CMHO office for permission. If we look at the number of beds of private hospitals that have opened, then there is no availability of so many doctors in the city. Because availability of one doctor is required for every ten beds.
More than five thousand beds are available in these 300 hospitals. Only some of these hospitals are running, but there are no doctors there. Government doctors give their services on call. Later, the patient is not taken care of properly, due to which unpleasant situations are created. Recently, in SK Memorial Hospital located at Gola Ka Mandir, the pregnant woman was delivered by surgery by Shalini Khan posted at Birla Nagar Maternity Home. The woman died two days later. A complaint was lodged with the police in that matter. Regarding which CMHO is conducting inspection of private hospitals. In these inspections, it is being found that doctors of health department or medical education department are giving on-call duty in private hospitals. Regarding which CMHO Dr. Manish Sharma has written a letter to the Dean of GR Medical College, Civil Surgeon and private hospital operators. In the letter, he has clearly stated that in the inspection of private hospitals being carried out by the CMHO office from time to time, it is coming to the fore that government doctors are giving their services without the permission of any competent authority. Therefore, direct all the doctors that they should not serve as full time, part time and on-time doctors without the permission of the competent authority. If in future any government doctor is found giving services in private hospital, then disciplinary action will be taken against them. Apart from this, the private hospital operators have been clearly instructed that if any government doctor is found rendering services against the rules in their place, then action will be taken to cancel the registration of the hospital. It is noteworthy that till now the notice was issued to that hospital after getting information about the working of a government doctor in a private hospital. Any action was taken only after the reply to this notice was received, but now it will not happen. Action will be taken to cancel the registration of private hospital directly.
