Gwalior Jah News: Gwalior (Naiduniya Representative). Jayarogya Hospital management could not take any lesson from Jamvati incident. The chaos continues in the biggest hospital of the region. Machines installed at a cost of lakhs of rupees for the examination of patients are lying closed. Which haven’t been used for months. Doctors are also treating patients without examination, because not every patient is able to get tests done for thousands of rupees at private labs. The reality is that for the last several months, there is a crisis of investigation and medicine for the patients in Jayarogya Hospital. The solution to this problem has not been able to solve even the divisional commissioner who has done more than half a hundred inspections in the last one year. This is the reason why two days back Jamvati was declared dead without ECG test. While the ECG machine was available in the hospital, it was not used. There is a meeting of the investigation team on Monday in the matter of declaring Jamvati dead, in which a report will be submitted to the Dean of GR Medical College against the doctors who are negligent on the basis of the investigation done. Based on this report, action will be taken against the doctor who is negligent.
Endoscopy and ABG machines closed
In the ICU designed for the treatment of very serious patients, examination with endoscopy and ABG machine is required. Diseases related to the alimentary canal are checked by endoscopy. Whereas with the ABG machine, the blood of those patients who are on ventilator is tested. In this test, the test report of other elements including oxygen in the patient’s blood is revealed in two minutes. Due to which the doctor gets to know which medicine should be given to the patient immediately, but if these machines were stopped during the COVID period, then they were not started again.
investigation not being done in pathology
In the pathology of Giyarogya Hospital, HbA-1c test of sugar is not being done for the last several months. Samples are sent to medical colleges for this test. Similarly, the PTINR test is also not being done, which shows what is the condition of the blood in the patient’s body.
Why are endoscopy and ABG machines closed, why are patients not being examined. In this time I take information from the concerned department. Serious patients are admitted in ICU, they need to be examined. I also take information about whatever investigations are not being done in pathology.
