Gwalior Railway Crime News: Gwalior.Naiduniya Rep. On March 4, to tie the knot, vicious thieves who entered the sleeper coach stole the trolley bag of the girl coming to Gwalior from Bhubaneshwar with her fiancé in the Utkal Express. Neha and Vishal’s bag had gold jewelery and other dowry items in the stolen trolley bag. On complaint to the victim, GRP Gwalior registered a case against unknown thieves on zero. The value of the stolen goods has been told by the victim to be more than one and a half lakh rupees.
According to information received from GRP Gwalior, Neha Rai, daughter of Bunty Rai, who lives in Ghasmandi, Suburban Gwalior, works with Vishal Shakya, a resident of DD Nagar, Gwalior, in a cosmetic goods company in Bhubaneswar. Due to his and Vishal’s marriage in Gwalior on March 4, both of them were traveling from Bhubaneshwar to Gwalior on seat number 71 and 72 of sleeper coach S-2 of Utkal Express. After the train departed from Bhubaneshwar, both fell into a deep sleep. When Neha broke her sleep before coming to Cuttack station, her trolley bag kept under her seat was missing. Neha and Vishal immediately informed coach TT about the missing trolley bag. But his FIR was not written in the running train. After this Neha got down at Gwalior railway station and went to GRP police station and lodged a complaint. The GRP has registered a case against Zero and sent the case diary to Bhubaneswar. According to Neha, the bag contained two weighted gold chains, a pair of gold earrings, a pair of anklets and other items besides the saris to be offered at the wedding.
Doctor’s mobile stolen from GT
The mobile of the doctor traveling in the AC coach of GT Express was stolen by a thief who arrived in the coach at Jhansi station of the train last night. The victim passenger came to know about the theft of mobile when GT Express reached Gwalior. On the complaint of the victim passenger, GRP Gwalior has registered a case of theft against unknown thief and sent the case diary to Jhansi for further investigation. Hoshangabad resident Syed Moin Akhtar is a doctor by profession. Last night, Dr. Akhtar had boarded AC coach A-1 of GT Express to come from Bhopal to Gwalior. During the journey, he fell into a deep sleep. Before the train reached Jhansi station, thieves who arrived in the coach saw Dr Akhtar sleeping in a deep sleep and stole the mobile on charging.
