The power company had implemented a resolution plan to recover the dues from the defaulters whose bills for 31 August 2020 were postponed. The electricity company had registered them by running a campaign. The last date to submit the bill was till February 28, but the defaulters did not pay the bill. A total of Rs 6 crore was deposited. Last day was Shivratri holiday, due to which the campaign could not go on. Now the company has started the campaign. All connections will be cut. Under the solution, 48 thousand houses were taken relief, but now they will not get relief.

After registration, there was one month to pay the bill. Therefore, the registered consumers under the solution were not touched. But there is no charge of cutting the connection by marking it, for that a pole to pole arrangement has been made.

Under the resolution, the outstanding dues on the registered houses are close to 159 crores.
