Gwalior Sanitation Survey 2022: Gwalior, Naidunia Rep. Dirt was also found on the wheelbarrow. Due to this the Municipal Commissioner suspended the WHO. At the same time, the sewer chamber was found spreading at Rajmata crossroads. The Additional Commissioner directed to get the chamber cleaned continuously.
Corporation confiscated non-standard polythene, 18500 recovered fine: Under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, polythene less than 75 microns is banned, but it is being sold indiscriminately in the city. The municipal staff took action on non-standard polythene on Saturday. During this, more than 50 kg of non-standard polythene was seized. Along with this, a fine of more than 18500 was collected. Under the direction of Additional Commissioner Mukul Gupta, action was taken to seize non-standard polythene in the South Assembly constituency. During this 8 kg of polythene was confiscated and a fine of more than Rs 13500 was recovered from the shopkeepers in Chawri Bazar area. Similarly, more than 6 kg of polythene was confiscated in Hazira’s Churi Market and Chandrashekhar Market. Along with this, a fine of more than 1000 was collected. At the same time, more than 30 kg of polythene was confiscated and challaned action of Rs 4350 was taken in various areas including Sadar Bazar Murar in Gwalior East assembly constituency. This action will continue continuously.
