After the completion of the first commission proceedings in the Gyanvapi campus, the court will be requested to get the video and photography of the remaining part done on behalf of the litigants. Dr. Sohanlal Arya, the husband of Laxmi Devi, the plaintiff of the case and advocate of the case, said that the survey of the entire premises has not been done yet. Some places have been closed with bricks and stones. There is no way for them to enter.
Dr. Arya said that on the western side there is a debris of 72 feet in length, 30 feet in width and 15 feet in height. A 15 feet high wall has been raised on its side. Because of this, the commission proceedings could not take place. He said- ‘I believe that this issue is related to Shringar Gauri and the commission proceedings have not been completed till the Shringar Gauri site mentioned in Puranas and various cases. Therefore, we will give a separate application to get it done in the second phase.
Earlier, in Gyanvapi campus, the team of the court commissioner completed the survey proceedings of 10 hours 15 minutes in three days. On the third day, action was taken only for two hours and 15 minutes, in which the Shivling was claimed to be seen there after draining the water from the Vajusthal.
Viewed the situation around the gallery: On Monday, all the members of the survey team walked around the basement of the mosque and saw the situation in a gallery about eight to 10 meters wide. Water is filled from the well: During the proceedings of two and a half hours on Monday, more time was taken to extract water from the artificial pond. Everyone wanted to know about where the water in this pond comes from. The survey revealed that there is a well in the basement below the pond, which is adjacent to the northern basement. Water is filled in the pond through a motor pump from the well. Dozens of spouts have been installed to drain the water.
Traders now get relief
After the completion of the survey in Gyanvapi Masjid, the traders of the area have got a lot of relief. The business and trade of bullion, clothes etc. in Godauliya and Chowk area was affected for the last three days. The traders expressed the hope that Baba Vishwanath will give us the fruits of the damage done. There will be more business ahead.
From Maidagin to Godauliya, other businesses including bullion, grocery, worship material, electronic goods, suitcases were affected. Suitcase seller Raju Aggarwal said that our business was affected for three days. Now devotees will come to visit like normal days. Hopefully business will grow again. Bullion trader Anil Jain said that people were not able to go from Maidagin to Godowlia. Saraf business was getting affected. Sonu Yadav, a sweet seller near gate number four of Vishwanath Dham, said that the market was sluggish for three days but if Baba’s grace is there, now there will be more benefit than loss.
