IGI AIRPORT: To fulfill his desire to settle in Jordan, a person played such a game that the security agencies of many countries fell into his trap. This person not only succeeded in reaching Amman city of Jordan, but also stayed there for three years and had fun. After three years, this person suddenly started missing his home. This person thought that he would go to India and come back using the same trick by which he had reached Jordan. Meanwhile, a small photo was made into such a ‘game’. This person’s conspiracy was not only exposed, but he also ended up behind the bars.
According to IGI Airport Deputy Commissioner of Police Usha Ranganani, on January 22, a person had reached IGI Airport from Jordan on Air Arabia flight G9463 via Sharjah. During investigation, the passport handed over by this person to the immigration officer showed his name as Jagraj Singh. During investigation it was found that the photograph on the passport did not match that of the person. After which, this person was taken into custody and handed over to IGI Airport Police. At the same time, the police took action against this person A case was registered under section 419/420/120B of IPC and section 12 of Passport Act and investigation was started.

Wanted to go abroad and buy all the happiness of life
According to DCP Usha Ranganani, this person told that his real name is Rajinder Singh and he is a resident of Sangrur district of Punjab. Like other youth of Punjab, he also wanted to go abroad and buy all the happiness of life. Meanwhile, he met a person named Gurjant Singh. Gurjant Singh assured him of sending him to Jordan. In return for this work, Gurjant Singh had demanded one lakh rupees. To fulfill his wish, Rajinder Singh arranged for one lakh rupees and handed it over to Gurjant Singh. A few days later, Gurjant handed over the Jordanian visa-laden passport to Rajinder.

During interrogation, this Rajinder Singh revealed that he reached Jordan in 2018 with the help of documents provided by Gurjant Singh. On the basis of Rajinder Singh’s revelations, the police started searching for agent Gurujant Singh and the real owner of the passport, Jagraj Singh. To arrest Gurjant Singh, a team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Rajinder Singh, SHO of IGI Airport, which also included female sub-inspector Sunita Mann and head constable Vineet. Accused Jagraj Singh was arrested by the police from Dhuri town of Sangrur (Punjab) district.

The lineman of the electricity department was the mastermind of the entire matter.
During interrogation, accused Jagraj told that he had got his passport made in 2016, but due to lack of money he is not able to go abroad. Meanwhile, he met agent Gurjant Singh. Gurjant Singh took away his passport by luring him with money. Gurjant had paid Rs 70 thousand to Jagraj Singh in exchange for the passport. At the same time, after Jagraj’s revelations, the search for Gurjant was intensified. After a long investigation, he was also arrested from Salempur village of Sangrur. During interrogation, he told that he is a lineman in the electricity department and for the greed of money, he used to trap people who wanted to go abroad.
