Former US President Donald Trump said in an interview that if he were president now, he would have threatened Vladimir Putin with nuclear war. Trump said, “I heard him (Putin) constantly use the N-word. He is constantly using the word nuclear.
Trump’s statement has come for the current US President Joe Biden, as it has been more than a month since the war between Ukraine and Russia began. NATO countries and the US, although verbally in support of Ukraine, have not been able to take military action against Russia. On the other hand, Russia has challenged not only NATO but America by firing hypersonic missiles on Ukrainian soil.
On March 21, in an interview with Fox Business’s Stuart Varney, former US President Donald Trump hit out at Joe Biden, saying, “We say oh, he’s a nuclear power. But we’re a big nuclear power. We have the world. The biggest submarines of all time, the most powerful machines ever…. You should tell them. ‘Look, if someone mentions nuclear attack not once but many times, then we should also come forward and threaten nuclear attack You cannot allow this tragedy to continue. Thousands of people are dying there (Ukraine).”
Let us let you know that a day earlier, US President Joe Biden used the word butcher for Russian President Vladimir Putin in a conversation with the media during his visit to Poland. He was asked what is your reaction when Putin is threatening nuclear attack. On the other hand, Trump has attacked Biden several times for not taking any military action against Russia.
It is worth noting that in the past, Russia took a big step and surprised the world by landing its nuclear submarines in the Atlantic Ocean. Russia has indicated that if any nation helps Ukraine, it will bear the brunt.
