Anju living in a separate room
Anju, 35, is a resident of Kailor village in Uttar Pradesh. At present she is living in Alwar district of Rajasthan and is married. While 29-year-old Nasrullah comes from Kulso village of Upper Dir in Khyber. There was a lot of news about both the people on Monday. Nasrullah told BBC Urdu that they plan to get married when Anju returns to Pakistan on her next visit. While talking to the Indian news agency PTI, Nasrullah said, “Anju has come to visit Pakistan and we have no intention of getting married.” He then added that Anju was living in a separate room in Kulso with the female members of her family. Nasrullah has refused to talk of love in friendship with Anju. While the police officer Khan says that she has come to Pakistan ‘because of love’. Khan was quoted by Geo News as saying that Anju has come to Pakistan from New Delhi for love and is living here happily. He said that the investigation related to Anju’s coming to Pakistan has been completed. He told that she has come to Pakistan on a one month visa and all her travel documents are valid and complete. The local people are giving gifts to Anju and she is living happily. Anju told local reporters that she befriended Nasrulla through Facebook and it turned into a “love affair”. She said, ‘I will reach within two or three days.’ He urged people not to bother his family in India with questions as he is available to talk. Anju’s visa is valid till August 20 and she will have to stay in Upper Dir. Both have assured the police that Anju will not go to any other part of the country. He is free to return to his country whenever he wants. Anju has shared another video clip of her. This clip was recorded by him while crossing the Wagah border on foot. She was looking very happy in this clip.
Police gave Anju securityUp Dir district police chief Mushtaq told the media on Monday that Anju would not stay in the area after August 20 and the police had provided her with proper security. If a Pakistani citizen comes to India or a citizen of this country goes there, then according to the rules, they have to appear before the police for registration. Upper Dir is a conservative region that borders Afghanistan. According to PTI, the villagers, who are mostly Pashtuns and very religious, want Anju to return safely to India. They do not want this incident to bring any bad name to their community.
