St. John’s, Atinga: After losing the Test series, West Indies have now announced their 15-member squad for the three-match ODI series starting on 27 July. Shai Hope will lead the team. Rovman Powell has the responsibility of vice-captaincy. The 15-man squad was selected after a four-day camp at Kensington Oval, which prepared the players for the ODI series as well as the five-match T20I series that followed. The selectors have recalled left-handed batsman Shimron Hetmyer and fast bowler Oshane Thomas. Fast bowler Jaden Seals and leg-spinner Yannick Kariya, who are rehabilitating after surgery, have been included, while left-arm spinner Gudakesh Moti has also found a place after recovering from injury.

The teams will then travel to Trinidad for the third and final CG United ODI at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy on Tuesday, 1 August. All three matches will start at 7:00 pm Indian time (9:30 am local time).
