In Himachal Pradesh, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state president Anoop Kesari and other AAP leaders Satish Thakur and Iqbal Singh came to Delhi on Saturday and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). All these leaders joined BJP in the presence of Union Minister Anurag Thakur and BJP National President JP Nadda. At the same time, soon after Anoop Kesari left AAP, the party has raised questions on his character.
AAP leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia said in a press conference on Saturday that at 12 o’clock in the night, BJP National President JP Nadda and his Union Minister Anurag Thakur, by holding a press conference, include such a person of the AAP party in the BJP, against whom AAP has received complaints that they used to talk dirty to women.
Sisodia said that such a person against whom we were going to conduct an inquiry and the person we were about to expel from the party, such a person has been welcomed by the BJP in its party.
BJP leader Anoop Kesari said that we were working hard for ‘AAP’ for the last 8 years, but ‘AAP’ neglected the party workers of the state and neglected the people of Himachal Pradesh. Apart from the Chief Ministers of Delhi and Punjab, no state leaders were given space during a rally in Mandi.
On this occasion, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that these three leaders of ‘AAP’ have joined BJP today for the self-respect and honor of Himachal. Arvind Kejriwal talks of Aam Aadmi’s party and on the other hand ignores his own workers. For 8 years, the people who made the party stand by sweating. He did not give them a chance to stand on his own chariot.
It is worth noting that after the thumping victory in Punjab, now the eyes of ‘AAP’ are on Himachal Pradesh. Assembly elections are due in Himachal Pradesh in December this year. AAP will now contest all 68 seats in Himachal Pradesh. Earlier, Delhi Health Minister and AAP leader Satyendar Jain had also announced that the party would contest the Shimla Municipal Corporation elections. Talking about election promises, Jain had announced that if the AAP government comes to power, it will provide free electricity and water as well as education and health facilities to the people of Himachal.
