New Delhi. Rinku Singh is sad about not being selected in the T20 World Cup team. Father Khanchandra Singh said that his son is heartbroken. India’s 15-member team has been announced for the upcoming T20 World Cup, in which Rinku has not got a place. He has been given a place among the reserve players. Rinku has performed brilliantly since her debut in international cricket. He has become the new finisher of Team India. Rinku’s father says that he had ordered sweets and crackers at home. But he was also saddened to see his son’s name not included in the 15-member team. The father says that he is happy that he will be with the team.
Rinku Singh’s father Khanchandra Singh said while talking to a news channel, ‘There were a lot of expectations. We had brought sweets and crackers. Thought he would play in 11. A little saddened by not being named in the 15-member team. Rinku Singh is currently playing for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. In this IPL he has not been able to perform as per expectations. He could score only 123 runs.

When asked whether you have talked to Rinku Singh? On this the father said that he is heartbroken due to not getting a place in the T20 World Cup team. Khanchandra Singh said, ‘His heart is broken. He talked to his mother and told that his name was not there. But he is going with the team. Rinku has not got enough chances yet in this IPL. Left-handed batsman Rinku Singh has scored 356 runs for India in 15 T20 International matches at a strike rate of 176. Reserve players can be included in the team in place of injured players.
