Ghazipur. Mafia don Mukhtar Ansari had alleged before his death that he was given slow poison in Banda jail. Mukhtar Ansari’s family members like brother Sibgatullah Ansari, Afzal Ansari and mafia don’s younger son Omar Ansari also made the same allegation. Now the preliminary report of Mukhtar Ansari’s postmortem seems to refute the allegation of death due to poison. The postmortem of Mukhtar Ansari was done on Friday at the Medical College of Banda. In this postmortem it was found that the mafia don died due to heart attack. However, whether poison was given or not will be known by examining the preserved viscera.
