Satna. Grandchildren and grandmother were burnt alive in a fire at a hut in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district. All three died. Police are searching for the reason as to how the fire started. According to the information received, five-year-old Sagar Dahor was playing with his four-year-old sister Kirti in a hut in Bhainswar village of Kothi police station area late on Saturday evening, while his grandmother Vidya Dahor was cooking. During this a spark of fire rose and the fire broke out.
According to the police, Vidya saw that there was a fire where the children were playing, then she ran to save both the grandchildren and she too was engulfed in flames. All three screamed but they could not be pulled out, as a result all three got badly burnt. The villagers made every effort to save the trio, arranged water while carrying out relief and rescue operations, the fire brigade was informed and when the trio were pulled out, all three had died.
