New Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party has been battling controversy for several days. Its Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal has alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal’s personal assistant Bibhav Kumar attacked her at the Chief Minister’s residence on May 13. The AAP leader said that Kumar kicked her in the chest, stomach and waist and brutally ‘dragged her and pulled up her shirt.’ Now in an exclusive conversation with CNN-AnyTV’s Jakka Jacob, Maliwal has expressed disappointment over the Chief Minister’s behavior.
Swati Maliwal said that ‘I am very hurt by the way Kejriwal is behaving. I have been working with him since 2006. I was being beaten in his drawing room. I was screaming. Kejriwal was at home, but no one came to help me.’ Later Arvind was seen with Bibhav, they protested for him. They made him a hero and me a villain. My friends in the party were threatened not to stand with me. And now Chief Minister Kejriwal is saying that there are two versions of this incident and an impartial investigation should be done.
‘He is in power’
Swati Maliwal said in the interview that ‘he is in power. After so many threats how can we think that the investigation will be fair. Bibhav is saying that I was trespassing. How did I reach the drawing room? If I was trespassing I would have been stopped at the gate itself.’ She said that ‘I cannot give clean chit to anyone. I was screaming in pain and no one came to help me. Arvind was seen with that man after the incident.

‘Attack on me…’
Swati Maliwal said that the attack on me was done at the behest of Arvind Kejriwal. He himself protested to save Bibhav Kumar. Maliwal told CNN-AnyTV that ‘He is not an ordinary PA. He is the most trusted person of the Chief Minister. The CM is completely dependent on him. Bibhav has a bigger house than most ministers. The entire party is afraid of him.
