After the death of 2 girl students and 1 boy student due to flooding in RAU IAS coaching center located in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi, now the Municipal Corporation of Delhi i.e. MCD has woken up and is engaged in action. According to the information, after the death of students in the IAS coaching center, the drains of the area are being cleaned. An MCD officer has told the media that at the place in Old Rajendra Nagar where the accident happened due to flooding in the coaching center, the drains were covered due to encroachment and they could not be cleaned. At the same time, MCD has also sealed 13 coaching centers and other establishments running in the basement after the instructions of Mayor Shaili Oberoi.

According to the information, when MCD started investigation after the accident, it sealed IAS Gurukul, Chahal Academy, Plutus Academy, Sai Trading, IAS Setu, Toppers Academy, Dainik Samvad, Civils Daily IAS, Career Power, 99 Notes, Vidya Guru, Guidance IAS and Easy for IAS. At the same time, after the accident, Rao IAS has also given a statement. The coaching center has said that it is saddened by this accident and stands with the families of the deceased students. Along with this, the coaching center has also said that it will provide all kinds of support in the investigation. The coaching center has not said whether any compensation will be given to the families of the deceased students or not.

Let us tell you that on Saturday evening around 7 o’clock, Rao IAS Coaching Center located in Old Rajendra Nagar was flooded. In just 3 minutes, the basement was filled with water up to 12 feet. Due to this, 2 girl students and 1 boy student died by drowning. According to the information, a door that opens with biometrics was installed in the basement. At the same time, it was also revealed that in the month of June itself, a student had complained to the Delhi government that studies are being conducted in the basement and this can lead to an accident. In July also, this student had given a reminder twice, but no action was taken by the government machinery. Now after the death of 3 students, everyone from MCD to Delhi government is seen in action. If this action had been taken earlier, the accident could have been avoided.
