The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest rankings on Wednesday (March 2). Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer, who performed well in the series against Sri Lanka, has gained in the T20 rankings. At the same time, former captain Virat Kohli has been out of the top-10. Iyer has jumped 27 places. He has reached number 18. Iyer had scored three unbeaten half-centuries in the series against Sri Lanka.
He scored 204 runs in three matches. During this his strike rate was 174. India beat Sri Lanka 3-0. Earlier, Team India had won the series against West Indies. Talking about Kohli, he did not play in the T20 series against Sri Lanka. They have lost five places. They have now slipped to the 15th position.
Pakistan’s dominance in the rankings
