Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the issue of corruption. He said that if Modi talks about fighting corruption today, people will laugh at him. Rahul said, “Earlier Modi used to talk about corruption at the time of elections. Today if Narendra Modi comes to Karnataka and talks about corruption and says I want to fight corruption, then maybe the whole Karnataka will start laughing and that thing in India. Can’t say anywhere.”
Rahul Gandhi, who is on a two-day visit to Karnataka, said that the BJP’s goal is to snatch the money of the poor and hand it over to 3-4 biggest industrialists. He said that the BJP basically has a financial transfer mechanism. It means take money from poor and give it to 2-4 industrialists. This is their system.
‘BJP cannot provide employment even if it wants’
The Congress leader said that the biggest issue facing the country is inflation and unemployment. Rahul said, “The country has suffered due to demonetisation, wrong GST and agriculture law. Today the condition of the country is that BJP cannot provide employment in the country even if it wants, because small and small scale industries have been destroyed by BJP.”
‘We have to fight to form the government’
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Bengaluru said, “Karnataka has always had the spirit of the Congress party. This is the natural position of the Congress. It should be very clear in our mind that we will not get less than 150 seats. We will put Karnataka on the path of development. It is very easy to find out who is doing the real work in Karnataka. We should fix tickets on the basis of the work that person is doing for Congress. We should not fight for a tough fight, we should We have to fight to form the government.”
