Talking to reporters in Sukma on Thursday, he said, “In Sukma, from where Naxalism started, today the effect of Naxalism has reduced a lot, Naxalism has gone far behind. The villagers who were earlier opposing the security camp, today are demanding for the security camp. Friendly relations have been established between the villagers and the security forces.
Baghel said in response to a question, if the Naxalites want to talk, then our doors are always open, only one appeal, if you believe in the Constitution of India, then I am ready to talk anywhere. I can’t talk to you if you don’t believe in the Constitution of India.
He further said, our constant effort is to provide the right of water, forest land to the tribals, who are in trouble, the doors are open for discussion with those who do not believe in the Indian Constitution, it is not possible to communicate with them.
Referring to the changes coming in Sukma, Chief Minister Baghel said, a lot has changed in Sukma. The income of the tribals is increasing, the purchase of minor forest produce has increased in the area. Along with this, ration shops are being opened in the interior areas, schools which are closed are being re-operationalised.
