The Delhi government has instructed all the private schools in the capital that before increasing the fees of their schools, they will have to take the permission of the Director of Education. The school session for the coming year is going to start in Delhi from 1st April. Before the new session, the Education Department of Delhi Government has issued this important order for private schools. According to the letter issued by the Directorate of Education, private (unaided schools built on the land of government agencies) cannot increase fees without prior permission of the Directorate of Education.
If such schools want to increase the fees then they will have to send a proposal and it will be necessary to take prior permission. For fee increase in the new session 2024-25, online application will have to be made from April 1 to April 15. Half-baked proposals will be rejected.
