Delhi Airport: There was a sudden chaos at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Monday afternoon. The situation was such that due to the disruption in the power supply of IGI Airport, not only darkness prevailed, but the entire system of the airport including flight operations came to a standstill. The situation reached such a point that passengers were facing a shortage of essential items including water.
Meanwhile, airport sources claim that the power supply of the terminal was restored after a few minutes, after which everything became normal at the airport. At the same time, passengers stranded amid this chaos say that the power supply at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport was disrupted for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the functioning of Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport had come to a complete halt.
According to passenger Siddharth Malik, Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport has completely choked due to power supply disruption. Neither any work is being done at the counter nor is Digi Yatra working. At the same time, another passenger named Rajiv Khanna has informed through his XX account at 2:09 pm that there is no light at Terminal 3 of IGI Airport for the last 15 minutes.
According to Rajiv Khanna, due to the power supply disruption in the terminal, all the counters and work have come to a complete standstill. Another person named Sudhanshu Shekhar Singh says that since there is no queue for the last 15 minutes, he is not able to buy water, coffee or any other food items.
It is worth mentioning that the power supply of all the terminals of IGI Airport was suddenly disrupted on Monday afternoon, due to which all the operations of the airport came to a complete standstill for some time. However, in the meantime, efforts were made to handle the situation through the backup system, but the results did not prove to be very effective. At the same time, airport sources claim that the power supply was restored within a few minutes, after which the functioning of the airport became completely normal.
