Bagbahara. The incident of theft has increased in the city since the last few days, thieves are trying to steal by defying the CCTV cameras. In the intervening night of Sunday-Monday, a masked thief tried to break the lock of the shutter in Guru Nanak Auto. However, the thieves failed to break the shutter and the lock.

Thieves are not afraid of Bagbahra police. People are frightened by the increasing incidents of theft in Bagbahra and the thieves are engaged in carrying out one incident after another and are working to challenge the police.
If we look at the incidents of theft in the last one month, it will be known that more than half a dozen theft incidents have been executed by thieves. In this, except in one or two cases, the police is seen helpless in all the cases. Because thieves are still out of police custody.
Thieves’ intentions raised due to non-arrest
Due to non-arrest of the accused who carried out incidents like theft in Bagbahra, their plans have become elevated. After the incident, the police definitely run their hands and feet but they do not get success in the cases of theft. However, in recent times, the police have tried to increase their activism in view of the increasing incidents of theft.
In the temple of Mata Chandi, the famous Tantrosiddha Shaktipeeth of Bagbahra block, an unknown thief broke the locks of four donation boxes including jewelery worth lakhs of rupees and crossed lakhs of rupees kept in it. The entire incident of theft has been captured in the CCTV camera.
Almost 20 days have passed since this incident, but the police is still unable to catch the thieves and due to the continuous theft in the Bagbahra police station area, there is panic among the thieves. While the movement of thieves was also seen in the CCTV camera.
Three masked thieves raided the Chandi Mata temple located in Bagbahra and the thieves enter the temple through the back of the mountain and, after bowing to the mother in the temple, first mark the donation box, then take out the ornaments of the mother. The members of the temple committee informed the police after getting information about the theft incident on the morning of 31 January.
After that, the team of Bagbahra Police, SDOP, Cyber Cell, Dog Squad along with Mahasamund SP, Additional SP reached the spot for investigation. A total of 28 CCTV cameras have been installed in the Chandi temple, which are keeping an eye on all the major places of the temple complex. At the same time, dozens of employees also stay in the temple premises for the night. Despite this, the thieves broke into the court of the mother.
It is to be known that this is the same Chandi Mata temple where bears come to Mata’s temple to eat prasad at the time of Aarti.
The incident of theft has also happened a few days ago in the Kali temple established behind the Chandi temple, but till now the thieves have not been caught. In the last month, dozens of theft incidents, including Bagbahra Nagar, have raised questions on the policing system of Bagbahra.
Nearly 20 days have passed since the theft in the famous Shakti Peeth Shri Chandi Mata Mandir of Bagbahra block, but the hands of the police are still empty, in such a situation, the anger among the people is increasing and they are warning of agitation in the coming two, however now It remains to be seen how long the police will be able to catch the thieves.
