Two days are left for the start of T20 series against Sri Lanka. Earlier, the Indian team has suffered a setback. India’s all-rounder Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the T20I series due to injury. He was injured in the middle match in the last T20 against West Indies. According to news agency PTI, the BCCI is not considering a replacement due to the presence of vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah in the team.
When did Deepak Chahar get hurt?
Deepak Chahar was bowling his second over during the last T20 match against West Indies. By then he had taken two wickets in 11 balls and was looking in fine form. Taking a run-up for the last ball of his second over, Deepak struggled with pain and stopped at half-runup. There was a strain in Deepak’s right thigh.
