After the match, Indian players also posed with the trophy, captain Rohit Sharma handed over the trophy to the team’s youngsters Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan, keeping the Dhoni-Kohli tradition intact. However, before these two players, Rohit did not give the trophy to any player but to a person associated with the team.
After winning the series, Rohit handed over the trophy to none other than Jaydev Shah. After the match, a picture and video of Rohit giving away the trophy to Jaydev Shah went viral, after which everyone wanted to know who was this person to whom the Indian captain handed over the trophy.

Jaydev Shah is the new manager of the Indian cricket team, as well as the former captain of the Saurashtra cricket team. Jaydev is the son of former BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah and serves as the BCCI representative during the India-Sri Lanka series.
Jaydev has had a very good run in first-class cricket. The left-handed batsman has scored more than 5000 runs in his domestic circuit. In this he has also scored 10 centuries and 20 fifties.
