Suryakumar Yadav and Venkatesh Iyer batted stormy in the third and final match of the three-match series between India and West Indies. Both shared a partnership of 91 runs in 37 balls for the fifth wicket. West Indies won the toss on Sunday (February 20) in Kolkata and elected to bowl first. India scored 184 for five in 20 overs. Suryakumar made 65 off 31 balls and Venkatesh scored 35 not out off 19 balls.
Batting fast in the last over, both the players broke a big record of 15 years old. Suryakumar and Venkatesh shared 86 runs in the death overs (16 to 20 overs). This is India’s highest number of runs in the death overs. Earlier, India had scored 80 runs in the first T20 World Cup against England in Durban, South Africa in 2007. In that match, Yuvraj Singh hit six sixes off Stuart Broad’s six balls. Yuvraj completed his fifty in 12 balls.

India’s four wickets fell for 93 runs
